I hadn't explicitly mentioned it on my journal, but for some time I have been planning a trip to Germany and Austria. I departed today at 5pm after finalizing the packing, storage, or disposal of my all material possessions, and am presently on the plane somewhere over Nova Scotia ( Read more... )

i had no idea about this...i heard you were going to leave, but i never knew when. i am sure i also speak for threv when i say we would love to have seen you off. good luck in your journeys, i have never known you well but i appreciate your power and i know it will serve you well.

I guess I just haven't seen you since the plan was coming together in a serious way. I tried to text you guys but I sent that in an atypical way and it might not have come through.

yeah, we blocked text messages from our phone service a few months ago...we have been trying all sorts of things to save money here and there, that being one. i sent out several myspace bulletins about it so that we wouldnt miss stuff like this...oh well, such is life! you will be missed, and i am sure we will both be keeping up with your adventures here.

Sorry I could not see you off before you went, we both seemed to have missed that for each other. I hope that you keep your lj or some other public blog fairly updated, as I continually want to know how you are doing. Maybe a conference will send me your way someday; they have them all over fucking Germany and Austria. I've got a couple friends in Austria, so if you happen to be near where they live maybe you could get shown around.

I'm sure we'll meet again sooner or later. Actually I was still hoping to come visit in Florida later if the timing is good.

Thanks for the offer of contacts in Austria, but I have some folks taking care of me as it is. If they get bored and I get desperate I'll let you know, but I think that is unlikely.

Wish you the best on your trip. As I said the night you left, it is a terrible shame you are leaving at this time as you would be a good help to me in a time of need. But regardless, in times of loss such as these it is important to seek out new wonders. Look forward to seeing you in Chicago. Excelsior!
