*He'd heard about the kittens, and he knew Al and he knew Greed so he could only imagine that if the homunculus he'd created was giving free kittens to people- for every one he gave away, he'd probably kept one of his own. *strangely enough, there were only two kittens prowling around Al's feet as he poured a small amount of milk into a bowl for them, and he looked up at the throat-clearing as he was setting it on the floor*

Brother! How are you? *he glanced sheepishly down at the kittens* I...uh...I couldn't resist. Sorry... *after kneeling down he pet on them both as they eagerly lapped up the milk he had offered.*

*Ed wrinkled his nose at the milk discretely, but didn't comment. Instead he smiled slightly at the words spoken by the homunculus, shrugging a should slightly* 'Least it's only two... The way everyone was talking, I was expecting a zoo, Al. Where'd you find them?

Is that so? *The blond retorted, knowing that the assumption had stemmed more from his own previous experience with Alphonse and the homunculus' namesake than anything he'd actually heard. Edward Elric was nothing if not confident in his assumptions*

Just keeping busy. I've been working at this bookstore, but in a world full of duplicates- I'm sure you can imagine I'm not the only one there. I don't think they really notice or care when employees go missing, either.
