I hate this cursed place. Has anyone learned yet anything about how we got in here, or better yet, how to get out?

Well, at least I seem to be managing to work electricity machines with magic somewhat now. At least something good came out of it.

...By the way, Rosa... Mustang left a package for you with me. He didn't tell me what it is, though. ( Read more... )

You've managed to mix electricity and magic?!

More or less. I only managed to light some light bulbs with my magic so far, and chage that simple electrical circuit that lights a light bulb so it didn't burst into flames when my magic was unblocked.

...unblocked?

Yeah, of course. I don't shortcircuit anything with my magic blocked, I am not that out of control...

My theory is still that we're inside the gate. I don't think that there's any way to prove this... but.... I.....

All the evidence would make sense, should that be the case.

Hypothetically, if we are inside this gate, how do we get out then?

I... don't know.

I made it out once before, but my brother had to cross it.

Oh, well... That's not good.

...Mr. Edward...

M-most people have only been here for a couple months, right?

...I'm sure people are working on trying to find a way out, but...it'll probably take a couple of years...hopefully not, but...

...

Electricity with magic? H-how have you been able to do that...?

Years!? *now you have made Ed sad*

One of the Winrys works with something called magitech, and her informations on it are helping me adapt my sort of magic to electrical things... Also, there are a lot of books on electro-magnetism in this city's library, it's quite interesting. I have been studying them for a bit now.
So far I have managed not to short-circuit a light bulb circuit with my magic, but that's about it.

W-well, I doubt it! There are a lot of bright people here! I'm...sure if they could all work together, we'll be out of here sooner. It's just...going to take some time...

...I see...that's...fascinating...amazing, too. Even if it's just a light bulb, that's still incredible!

If you need any help, just let me know! Now that I have legs, I don't feel as useless and I want to do whatever I can to help out around here...

...........

Yeah.
...Does magic in your world not work with electric circuits either?

Alright, thanks, I will keep that in mind. *grins*

I'd like some answers to those questions too.

Mr. Mustang did?

edward_niisan July 29 2008, 00:58:37 UTC
Yes. Hum, here it is. *hands a small pack to her, then watches her and the pack curiously*

*there is a necklace inside and a letter explaining it is a charmed object that should keep her head clear around vampires and at times even get colder against her skin when she is near one. Though this second might not work always to her since she is not a witch, it will likely work often enough if she stays in the company of a vampire for some amount of time. He also tells her not to attack the vampires, but just walk away from them, because attacking is not only dangerous, but she could also be attacking someone innocent.*

*...if she stays in the company of a vampire for some amount of time? She frowns, since that's exactly what she doesn't want to do. After reading the letter, she looks up at Ed.*

Can you tell him I said thanks? This shold help a lot.
