I hate this cursed place. Has anyone learned yet anything about how we got in here, or better yet, how to get out?

Well, at least I seem to be managing to work electricity machines with magic somewhat now. At least something good came out of it.

...By the way, Rosa... Mustang left a package for you with me. He didn't tell me what it is, though.

You've managed to mix electricity and magic?!

More or less. I only managed to light some light bulbs with my magic so far, and chage that simple electrical circuit that lights a light bulb so it didn't burst into flames when my magic was unblocked.

Yeah, of course. I don't shortcircuit anything with my magic blocked, I am not that out of control...

Hum? Where? *looks confused*

You mean... you burn muggle machines with your magic blocked? Or.... erm, I thought you didn't at all, right?

...I can't block my magic.

*frowns* What do you mean? Your magic is blocked right now... *watches Al up and down and touches a hand to his cheek just to make sure*

Hum, well. If I unblock my magic... *leaves his words to trail off and does so*

*his skin is shining slightly now, and Al can feel something tingling against his skin. There is also something brushing against his skin, nearly liquid but not quite, almost like a breeze*

It is unblocked.

*stares, wide-eyed* W-what's going on?

*looks at Al in bewilderment* That's my magic... I am not blocking it anymore.

*waves his hand in the air around him, as if to say his magic is floating around him* This way, there is no need of a wand to amplify it. *uses a floating spell on an object nearby to exemplify it, since Al still looks confused* But, erm, I am not much of a mage, so I cannot control it very well without my wand.

I... magic.... in my world..... this.... this doesn't exist. At least, not that I've read.

Hum, well... *still bewildered, confused and a bit sad*
It... must be what makes our worlds different. Afterall, its our aura that does not mix well with muggle technology... and it has something to do with the conceiving of new life too. That's what we found different, apart from the timeframe, right?

....Doesn't seem like that's possible now.
