C and C music factory????
So
this week I went to the Red Sox's first baseman's house. it was nice, but I was expecting much bigger and fancier. David Ortiz has a nice place tho.
Today, I went to the program director (I think?) of WBCN's house and did his house up. His wife Leslie is soo nice. Went in there expecting to put up 2 pairs of speakers and a volume control. Was scheduled for 3 hours by myself. Got there and upsold her by over double what she originally ordered. Thing was, they were sheetrocking the walls in the basement tommorrow, so We had to get it all done today. So I came out smelling like sweet sweet fucking roses for doubling, almost tripling our profit, and by getting it all done in one day. We added, intercommunication between two systems, a kitchen keypad and wiring for future speakers, outside upper deck keypad and two outdoor speakers, and downstairs lower deck keypad and speakers. Don't forget the labor, too. Bill the Irish salesman says he owes me a sixpack...how bout he throws me a hundy for making him some hard green? :)
last night i put on the red hot chili pepper's greatest hits album and hooked it into my bass rig while I played along. I was real real on, on most of the songs. I was real real off on some parts tho. My instinct and train of thought isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be after taking all that time off from playing. The only thing was getting to get my hands and fingers to do everything I wanted them to. I gotta keep reminding myself that I am trying to pick up a bass god's licks and shouldn't be too hard on myself. There are like only 3 out of 15 songs on that album that I couldn't learn in a day.
Megan's coming over, gonna hang and do something I'm sure.
Got band practice tommorrow with Tim and Tim. Tommorrow's gonna be fun.
my hair is almost fully in the between stage. You know when you go from short hair to long, and that awkward in between look, well that's almost fully me. If I let it just sit there, it looks goofy. If I put gook in it, I need to use a ton to get it to stay, and I look like a greaseball. yes, yes, I'm vain, whatever.
should take a shower and attempt to clean my room before Peg-leg Meg gets here.
