demoman are VERY STRONG
I can wipe easily 10-20 kills ON AVERAGE and up to 30 when im on fire.. and this is on these "fast respawn servers" where you can die very easily due of the fast phase... also demomen's reload is awfully slow to compensate...
the spy, for the love of god.. thats his job, its to harrass the defences while the engineers are busy!
your team might be in seconds to get a defeat, bvut a good spy killing the snipers or the heavies with their medics is VERY USEFUL.
the scout fells like fleas agaisnt any average heavy and to the sentries...
a medium charged sniper shot can get them down in no time.
the engineer is perfect as it is, I've killed spies easily with my shotgun
also the wrench as the biggest critical rate of all the characters.
hell, I've killed medics-heavies-soldiers and demomen with my wrench while they're busy with my sentry.
in short words, in my humble opinion, you're just NOT playing for the way TF2 is build, you just want it QUAKE , where everyone can defend from everyone.
thats why this game is called TEAM FORTRESS ( note the TEAM ), Ie, you have to work with your team to do something.. dont expect you to kill 506324623630 guys with your engineer on the offensive... for the love of god! they have specified ROLES.

you can easily push alot of stickies at once with a single rocket or a single demomine.
demomen also die like fleas against snipers AND scouts!!
and dude seriously... if the demomen had these charges you want.. he would be USELESS. because anyone could shot the goodarn stickies and preventing the demoman to do enought damage...
an sticky is like 35-60 damage.
you need 4 to destroy a sentry.. now if you use an engineer to shot the stickies.. the sentry WILL NEVER DIE.
making the game harder, always having to rely on a good soldier's splash, or a UBBERED char like pyro or heavy.

2. I'm not suggesting giving the engineer a more powerful gun, per se...just a more interesting one. Something with more flavor than the standard shotgun or pistol.
3. Yes, I realize it's a team game, and I play it as such...but if you eliminate the spy (or at least nerf him back to what he was in TF1), engys could actually go have fun, rather than just hanging out in one spot the whole game out of necessity.
4. I'm not looking for Quake, I like TF2...but the game should be equally fun for every class. Noone should have to either sit around bored (like the engy), or feel that their attacks are often useless (like the pyro).

demomen weapons = stickies, pipebomb and bottle
the soldier's weakness is its slowspeed and the very low travel time of the rocket.. AND low ammo.
the "interesting weapons" are gonna be the upgraded weapons.. thats why the boring medic became a VERY USEFUL CLASS after the update, so does heavy and pyro.
thats why you have to set your sentries , teleports and dispensers in the correct way.. you can use dispensers to protect you from backstabs, or use them to "block" the way to spyes...
you dont need to be 100% near your stuff all the time, but thats the engineer's role, he's supposed to DEFEND, not to go postal like you want.
engie is fun in maps where they are gonna assault you harcore, like the the first part of all stages of dustbowl.
I have no idea where you play, but seems youfound a awfully bad server to find that bad stuff at once.
and pyro + ubber = can obliterate a full team if the pyro's good...
including sentries!!!

as for spy, for the love of god dude!!!.. he's already weak as he is..
he cant taunt, his disguise is always using the secondary gun of the some chars or the primary of the others., when disguised as certain ones, like scout or medic.. its too easy to see..he bounces on buildings and other chars.... his "invisibility" also "shinnes" when he gets hit or bounces on someone, so he can be easily seen (unless you're blind XD )
in a place where they spam pyro... they fall like fleas...
they need NO NERFIN. they're balanced.
try playing spy and we'll see how much guys you kill.. specially in a fast respawn server or 2fort.
