(no subject)
It looks like I may be going on my first college date. Mark, one of the brothers from Sig Ep (I talked to him a lot at the last party I went to there) came up to me before Child Development and asked me if I wanted to hang out on Saturday. I said that I didn't know what my plans were but it was definately a possibility. I am not really sure what his intentions are (it is not every day that a good looking junior shows interest in me) so I wanted to go somewhere public where I knew that my friends would be there to bail me out if necessary. He called this evening and asked me to go to the mall and get ice cream with him tomorrow. I said possibly, that I wasn't sure what was going on. I think he was a little confused but said he would call tomorrow. I am a little nervous about saying yes because even though we will be in a public place there will be no real way to leave if I want to bail. However, everyone here is encouraging me to go so I will probably say yes. We have come up with a plan if necessary. How bad could it be? I don't really want this to amount to anything serious. I want it to be kind of casual. I just need to breathe and not be my normal nervous wreck.
