It's still warm in Virginia, but unlike Bangkok there's a softness to it, and it's clear that autumn itself is not far off.

This came to mind.

Thanks! Yeah, as much as I love the autumn (my favorite season) there is a bittersweet quality to its entrance.

The trip was...well, now it's over, at least. :) I am severely jetlagged, and possibly sick, but now I have a brand new teeny computer and a volume of Auden's poetry to curl up in bed with.
