Happy Year of the Dog!
The weather today has been really strange. It's gone from gloomy, to sunny, to snowy, to sunny again in the last two hours. Also, I think I'm sick, either that or my allergies have gone mad. It's hard to tell about that sometimes.
I watched the rest of "Bride and Prejudice" yesterday, and really liked it a lot. It was cool how some of the lines were adapted directly from the novel, even though it was a modernized version of the story and turned into a Bollywood musical (which I should see more of if they're like this one). I recommend the film to anyone who likes 1. Jane Austen, 2. "Pride and Prejudice", 3. Indian culture, 4. Disney-ish musicals, 5. Romantic comedyish things. It was made by the same woman who directed "Bend it Like Beckham", which interestingly enough, stared Kiera Knightly, who went on to play Elizabeth Bennet in the newish version of "Pride and Prejudice". As much as I loved this movie, I still feel like nobody besides Colin Firth can play Mr. Darcy. I need to see the Kiera Knightly version once it comes out to DVD. I wonder when that will be?
Happy Chinese New Year by the way! Yesterday I did a bunch of Chinese astrology researching to find out what the horoscopes are for different signs for this year. It's the year of the dog, btw, so Amanda, and I think maybe a couple other people on my friends list, it's your year! If any of you are interested I could let you know what I found out about what's in store for your Chinese sign. Just reply to this and I'll tell you ^.^ I feel like I should go draw a bunch of pictures of Shigure or something...
Anyhow, I applied to the fm_a_rating community, and so far have gotten 3 votes which have kinda surprised me. It's too bad though that none of the people who have voted for me so far have included any reasons as to why they voted me as the person they did. I like reading reasons why, you know?
