This morning the postman brought me my order from Carpe Noctem Records (which could have been ordered from the polish label beast of prey directly if they had answered my email >.<). Leslie, the girl behind this, is very nice, and her prices are very attractive. I advise her mail order!
I've received my 5 cds:
Nekyia - Purgatory as the serpent domain. A beatiful neoclassical/neofolk/heavenly band. The concept is medical experiments if I did understand. And the artwork is magnificient (as usual with this label), it contains: cover made from three parts, it contains additional inserts: two graphic inserts, one with lyrics, and graphic insert with text about clinical death of brain. To limited edition a set of sugical needles is added - it contains four various sized needles!!
Moljebka Pvlse & Horologium - Kaukasus . Martial noise ambient I'd say (heard just once). It's "an album devoted to this magical and spellbound region, known for its natural beauty and cultural variety. 45 minutes of experimental ambient music on a limited to 555 copies CD edition, which as always comes in a splendid packaging: 260 x 360 cm poster folded in two (13 x 18 cm). A linen clothing is added for your aesthetical pleasure."
Dead Man's Hill - Esoterica Orde De Dagon. A martial indus dark ambient (cmi like) belgium band. Album issued aesthetical, decorated with photos of naked women from many years ago
Paranoia inducta - sanctified destruction. Not heard yet. Noise ambient I guess.
BrandkommandO - Achtung! Achtung! Der Kommunismus Kommt. "Debut material of polish Brandkommando. 35 minutes of power rhytm harsh industrial !! Noisy roars and sond, all is rythmic and well arranged. All is hold in communistic style (samples ). Cd is issued atypical from strap of printed cardboard made from three pieces and protected by cardboard band. All packed in aluminium sac."
When I see pathetic mainstream album in mainstream stores at 25-30€ with no or ugly artworks (like the music ¬_¬ ) I'm glad to listen to underground stuff like that which costs less than 10€ !!
