(no subject)
Today was pretty cool. During our split, Jessie, Sergey, and I went to Snoqualmie pass. We didn't have much time, so we only spent about 15 minutes there. Basically, we worked our way up a hill, falling every couple minutes when one foot would sink suddenly into the deep snow. We then got really cozy in the small sled and headed down the hill. It didn't work as well as we wanted. We're too fat. The sled just sunk into the snow. At one point we did get going a bit, but the sled tipped over, and we were spit out onto the snow, still in the spooning position. I peed a little, and Jessie farted. Once we reached the bottom, we ate some sushi. We then cracked open the three bottles of sparkling cider that we had been chilling in the snow. We each drank straight from the bottle as we drove back to the base. I had to stand in the bathroom in my underwear drying the ass of my pants with a hair dryer.
Oooh, and I got to see the gnarly wreckage from the crane tipping over. It's pretty freaky. I drove right by there an hour before it happened. It could have landed on ME! Well anyways, one building is pretty much wrecked, chopped in half. Another apartment building appears fine, except for two apartments gouged out. Also, and apartment building across the street is pretty torn up. They got the crane out of the street, but it's still on its side in the construction site. And the street is still closed.
