[From a journal that isn't his, since his got left behind in the engine room - probably Watson's, actually...]

[F. Silvana - Easy Hack]

How goes the progress with the ghost?  And, everyone who made it outside, are you all right?

Damn . . . I don't even want to think what the hangers look like.  What...what Duelist looks like...

[F. Unknown - UNHACKABLE]

Grandfather . . . I'm sure you've heard by now.  Yes, the Silvana went down in the Badlands.  Yes, it was engine trouble, but not what you might think.  Apparently, there was a death, likely murder, in there some months back.  The ghost of the former mechanic has come back as a vengeful, and powerful, poltergeist, ripping our ship apart from the inside out.  We landed before we had to, so there's minimal damage from that.  The interior, however, looks like a war zone.  Chh...I take that back.  It is a war zone.  When I left it, the engine room looked like Ground Zero of a tornado . . . and no, that is not an exaggeration.  [sound of a deep breath being pulled, let out slowly]  I don't know what the state of the rest of the ship is, but from network chatter, I know that other parts were breached as well.  Most of the crew has evacuated with minimal injuries, much of the rest holed up in the infirmary.

Nnn...speaking of the infirmary...  The main room is secure, but the freezer in the operating room is one of the appliances animated by the ghost.  I can hear it slamming around in there and can only begin to imagine the extent of the damage to the equipment and supplies in there, not to mention the collection of medicines and drugs and the blood supply that's now a Bloody Mary cocktail in the damned thing.

On that note, I have a favor to ask, Grandfather . . . but let things calm down and me get more information before I say more.  In the meantime, know that I'm all right.  So far, we all are.  There's a team in the engine room now dealing with the problem, and then it will just be a matter of assessing the damages and what it will take to repair the ship.  No casualties and no serious injuries reported.  [well, except for himself, but he's NOT telling Grandfather!  TT~TT]  I'm sure you can tell from the ID information that this is not my journal.  It got left behind in the engine room, and I'm borrowing someone else's for this.  Please do not respond to this transmission, as I'm not likely to receive it.  I will contact you again once things calm down and get straightened out.  Give my love to Mother and to everyone.

Atem out.
