I miss performing. I miss that adrenaline rush I crave so much when I'm playing up in 10th position, playing forte... during an incredible piece full of passion, anger, impatience, and love. I miss the feeling of every single note running under my skin, and through my veins. To look up into those tiers as the crowd raises to their feet, applauding and whistling. To look over to the conductor, and have him give me my cue so that we can bow together. I love it, and I miss it incredibly. I know I'm a performer at heart, and always will be. I know I'm a musician, and I always will be.
