In other news...
I'm at school, hence my spirit is dead. Nicole and I have our first radio show today!! First show together, I mean, and my first show EVER. I am muy, muy excited y apprehensive(o?). Yeah, I have to get back to my Spanish work because that was just sad, especially for someone in Spanish 4. At rehersal for the Winter Concert last night @ Ardmore Pres. there was a professional oboeist and I was extremely excited to see him in action. Can we say 'band dork' anyone? But I was really disappointed. He barely knew his music and his tone quality was nowhere near as beautiful as my teacher's, and she is/was? a professional oboeist also. Whatever--I could have played the piece better, which is saying something. Time to go now--I have an act of Hamlet to read that I've been putting off for a while now. I remember it very well from 7th grade but maybe we'll go more in depth this year? Maybe? If not, at least I can laugh at all of the odd situations Hamlet's sexual allusions make. I mean really, who talks about their mother 'slipping between the sheets'? Ewwwww.
