I just got back from my walk, during which I rescued two teeninsy-winsy frogs hopping in the road.  Normally I wouldn't touch them for fear of hurting them, but they would never have been able to hop up the curb, and faced a certain death.  Then I managed to avoid stepping on a third one who was crossing the path.

This is the second time this summer that I have seen a lot of tiny frogs.  There is hope for the amphibians yet.
