Ezotsuyu
Soon I'm going to have to give in and go get groceries despite the seemingly unending rain. I had thought one of the perks of living in Hokkaido was that we didn't get the rainy season... not true this year. It's been raining for a week and shows no sign of clearing up til the middle of next week, maybe, depending on whose forecast you're checking. I don't know how the rest of the country manages. Maybe it would be less distressing if it didn't feel like each rainy day was a theft from the quota of warm sunny ones allotted to the short Hokkaido summer. If I knew I'd still get them all, just later, I'd feel much better about all this rain!
