Chamomile tea is supposed to do that, too. Though I don't suppose it would be much good for onion-smell. Sympathies. :S

it seems to have disipated, thankfully. I think maybe it's clinging to the kitchen due to lack of ventilation and was wafting into my room, cause I left and close my door for a while, and the problem stopped.
