and art update...since i cant sleep cuz of the coughing..
..yes, i still have the sick very badly. on antibiotics now, and everything else i can think of, hoping its gonna start working soon......
just something i did up quickly last night...again with the not sleeping...

My Cloud painting :D
...clouds have always been a favourite thing of mine....and i had this huge canvas waiting around for months waiting for something suitably impressive....yet i wanted it to be simple too....and this is how it ended up :D
I am, i have to admit, inordinately proud of how this has turned out. I love it :D....which isnt to say that i still have to restrain myself from fiddling and 'fixing that last little bit' =P
its a 1X1.2m canvas - left the surroundings in the photo so you can see how and where i painted it. I used 3 colours- 2blues and several tubes of white. there is also texture in some parts, made from clunking on the gesso. it was also a surprisingly quick work for me, only taking a few hours a day for about 2 weeks.
anyway, i love it,and i hope you all do too :)

....please not e right away that this is photo of it almost but not quite finished! i dont have a good one of it finished yet, will change this when i do..
I started this painting over a year ago. I had a really vivid dream and felt compelled to get it down on canvas. there is no story, just images....a girl with flowing hair, coloured glass egg things in a sunlight in a church, cliffs, a storm.....
what with all my spare sick time, ive been needing something to work on and it finally called to me again. there was quite a bit of fun had with finger painting in parts, and lots of working over to try get the richness i imagined....
anyway...here is my dreamscape... hope you like it :)
......and now i need to go back to bed and continue coughing up lungs, clutching a cramping tummy and trying to cry down the phone to the boy, again.....
