Oh hush, Hun. Waiting 'til you had some visual reassurance and time to digest the news was oh so wise. Besides, you waited much longer than I ever could've. I have to give you props for that! Breaking the news on Vally's was ultra memorable & cute... I had a feeling you would do so then... either then or on D's birthday. I didn't realize you had the appointment for your first scan then! How symbolic & synchronized!
I think the words you chose & way you presented the news was just so unique and lovely. Sucked a sigh outa me for sure, and I gotta say I'm tickled pink at the twinsieness, as if you'll recall, I had my first ultrasound on Vally's Day last year! It was the day we found out we were having a girl & everything! I'll always have extra special fondness for Vally's due to that, and now this! :)
So, just, wow wow wow & F F EEEF to these pics! No place more surreal & moving than the fetal photo booth and its miraculous emotional bonding powers! Truly it's like you're meeting them for the first time in a sense... seeing their form or screen & that it's true, they actually EXIST!
The details you threw into the story and everything? Oh wow, if I might draw you a picture in your mind now. Those tidbits are million dollar bills & I am the crazy woman crying for joy & leaping all over the place trying to catch as many as I can! Now if only we had piccies of you! It feels like a CENTURY since I last saw your face.
Aaaaaahhh! Ok! Back to the sweet lil booger at hand!
I love that your little wiggle worm was so mellow for the most part, laid back & lovin' the ride! I wouldn't wanna to be the one to have to tell him or her they eventually have to say sayonara to the sweet snuggly confines of your belly, but then again, if I could show them somehow the beautiful older brother they're about to acquire, and the world's most perfect, loving set of parents, I know they wouldn't take the news so harshly. ;)
Oh... just, wow again, for lack of any other word that sums it up... these pics are more emotionally compelling than I could ever say. I shed tears studying his or her every little tiny curve and cranny. I've been here so many times to look. With James over my shoulder, Mum at my side, Ash on my lap, etc. These pictures are treasures of life.
Knowing somewhere out there this gorgeous, giddy, Snow White lookin' thing is walking around with what I see above tucked deep & safe in her tum is a surefire goosebump bring abouter. :) *Sniffle*
Congrats again Ess. Thinking of you/this/who's coming *ALWAYS*.
