I think I hate grading. I got so behind this week. I had so freaking much to do. I need to work on spending a bit more time on my work that I bring home. I end up just not doing what I intend on working on once I get home. Progress reports are due Tuesday and I want to have everything from last week included in them. So I will be working on getting through a weeks or so worth of papers for 4 different periods. At least it's all right or wrong type of stuff. It makes it easier. I just find it hard to stay focused on doing it when I am not at work. I want someone to skype me or something so I can talk and work at the same time. That way I will have someone to help keep me entertained while I work. I put a lot of effort into grading this stuff and the kids just toss it as soon as I give it to them. It makes me want to just half ass grade it all. But that wouldn't be good for them or me. I need to think of each assignment as an assessment on student achievment. But, it's just so boring! Ok, enought bitching. I am getting back to work.
