Weekend update
Ok, I haven't written in a couple days cause I've been pretty busy...so I'll just recap what i've been up to. Friday was pretty good. I skipped my 9am class, watched a movie in my 12:00 and actually paid attention and accomplished something in my 2pm stat lab. I also got some free psychology textbooks while i was over at Davie hall before my stat class. Wow, I must be a huge dork if I actually want to read those this summer just cause they are interesting. Anyways...after class I tried to get some reading done before going out. I went out and got dinner with Marc and had a really good time, then back to hang out at my dorm.
I stayed in bed most of Saturday cause I didn't feel very well but I had a relatively productive day. I signed up for classes and even though I had first pick as a senior, I still didn't get into all the classes I wanted, prolly in part due to the fact that it took me 20 mins to get onto the registration system. But its ok, I got most of the stuff I needed. I'll prolly be doing some tweaking of the schedule later but as of now I'm signed up for Psyc 50( research methods w/ lab), Psyc 124( applications of drugs), Psyc 141(Adulthood and Aging), Ints 77(global studies + french recitation), and Wmst 50( into women's studies). I couldn't get into a decent PE class so I'll prolly just try and test out of another one of those. Anyways add gymnastics to that schedule and I'm gonna be really busy...so I'll prolly drop one class cause 17 hours is a lot. Anyways after registration I read 2 plays for english, the rest of ch 14 in stat, and some of ch 9 in my soci 22 textbook. I also looked at floor plans for dorms in order to pick out my top choices for where to live next year. I get my first chance to sign up for housing next monday and i'm already prepared for that. So...after all that I watched UNC lose to Texas in the 2nd round of the tournament and then I went out with Nikki and Travis to the TEP party. It sucked when we got there cause they had horrible "white boy" music that ya can't dance to. So we walked around Franklin for awhile and got something to eat and then went back to the party cause they were supposed to have a DJ playing hip hop after the live white boy band. The DJ started like 45 mins after we got there the second time and it was boring as hell before that...I mostly stood around since this asshole frat boy wouldn't let me into the VIP room with nikki and travis. But then travis came out and brought me in and i got some vodka and everything was ok after that, lol. The DJ kinda sucked but the music was decent when it was actually on...so I busted out the booty dancing and had a good time with that. I met a pretty nice guy that I danced with for awhile and talked to. Then when I couldn't find nikki and travis and it was like 3:30am, he walked me back to my dorm so i wouldn't have to walk back alone. Anyways, back at my dorm, morgan had a friend spend the night and so we talked for awhile and i didn't get to sleep till like 5am.
Wow, i think i went into too much detail with sat. Oh well...so today I've been really lazy and have laid around in bed most of the day. I did get up at around 10:30am and went out to breakfast with nikki though. We talked about dorms for next year. We might end up being roomates again depending on how lucky we are at getting into the residence hall that we want. After breakfast I did some more sleeping and soci reading...I just finally finished ch 9 in soci and now I get to do some more stat reading and hw and then maybe some meteorology and biopsyc reading if i'm really ambitious. Right now I'm taking a break though and wasting some time on the computer. Actually its time to call Marc cause I miss him. Ok, updates later.
