So umm.. it's been a month. That was not supposed to happen. Basically, life has been going, in the way that it does, sometimes stellar, sometimes not so much. I LOVE 'Girl' on the Little Earthquakes album.... it's ver ver early 90's in the accompaniment but the words are so profound.

girl's a good one. honestly, little earthquakes, though very early 90s is i think my favorite album overall, yet the other ones show a lot of progress.

ps. you think girl is early 90s you should hear "y kant tori read" it's before little earth quakes. god only knows how you go from "i want you more then the stars and the sun" to "she's been everyone elses girl, maybe someday she'll be her own"

LJ has the capacity to be mature. I have several friends whom I would describe as being well beyond the teenage angst stage (one is, in fact, a middle-aged priest), and have encountered many people who come across as both intellectually and emotionally mature and sometimes brilliant. For me, LJ is more about keeping in touch with my friends (which is one reason I don't want you to leave... it'll be less easy to keep track of you, but that's purely a selfish reason and don't let it influence you, because heck, typing in an extra URL once in a while - or maybe adding an extra link to my list! - won't kill me). I like the setup here, and I like to think LJ can be as mature as what you put into it. But certainly, if you don't feel like it's really for you anymore, it's no one's decision but yours if you switch blogs. I know you're not about to jump tracks and not tell us where you're going, so I'm not worried. ^_^

Always nice to read your posts, especially when it's been a while.
