(no subject)
I spent my entire "weekend" off the past couple days sanding down and re-staining our balcony and back porch. EXHAUSTING. Power tools, however, are sweet. And the decks look really good now.
I am house/dog-sitting for the next two days! I get to hang out with big dumb dogs! Awesome!
My mom put this photo up on Facebook today:
And I wish it wasn't so washed out! (She also "suggested" I friend my best friend's mom, who is adorable and the most computer illiterate person I know - I don't even know how she managed to sign herself up.) That's how we entertained our cousins all weekend when they all came out for my grandpa's funeral last winter. Mustache fingers and human pyramids.
Fourth of July tomorrow! We're having beer and barbecue and pool party. Having a pool in the basement is the best thing EVER in the summer, especially since it has been HOT lately. It's like 92 degrees here today, UGH.
