(no subject)
There's an outdoor wedding reception or something going on at the mansion/restaurant/golf club down the street and it's like 50 drunk people are serenading me Roxanne outside my bedroom window. If this doesn't let up by midnight I'm going to walk up the green to yell at them in my underwear. (Sleeping in real clothes in the summer is sweaty and dumb.)
I really like working Saturdays because I get off at four and a group of us usually just heads down the street to the brewery to sit out in the beer garden and bitch about working in customer service for two hours while we slowly beer ourselves happy again. It's really nice on hot summer days.
Now they are singing Neil Diamond, oh yay.
I can't believe it's almost July already! I'm pretty excited, I get to spend a week with caithream and idril_telrunya later on and then when I come home my siiister is going to be here for my birthday! Two of her (and her husband's) best friends from college are getting married the first weekend of August and I am selfishly totally stoked because that means we get her staying with us for two weeks prior to that. They just moved from Florida up to North Carolina, like, last weekend, so she's just going to be a housewife for a month or two while they get set up there so that she has plenty of time to come visit us while she has the excuse. It's hard to live across the country from her, I don't like it! :(
