SO. The Travis concert was, of course, INSANELY AWESOME. I wasn't quite as "HOLY SHIT AAAH" as the first time, but I still kind of feel like my heart exploded a little every time Dougie Payne smiled at me. And Fran's voice sounded amaaazing that night, probably because it was only the second night of the tour. He covered that Katy Perry song about kissing girls, which I've never particularly liked before, and now I can't stop singing it. And they sang "Before You Were Young," which is one of my favorites from the new album! My face hurt from smiling by the end of the night.

I want to marry that whole band so bad, SIIIIGH.

Also, the band that opened for them, The Republic Tigers, were kind of great! Their most well-known songs:

Buildings and Mountains - UGH.

Fight Song - This song was supposedly actually in Lazarus Rising! I haven't gone back and watched yet to see if I hear it, but I thought that was kind of coincidentally AWESOME.

There is MORE if anyone wants it.

AND ALSO, before it's the day after May 9th, I HAVE to say happy birthday to this kid I know. WHO'S NOT REALLY A KID ANYMORE, WHAT. Baby, HOW DID YOU TURN 22 ALREADY. You've been drinking in bars for a YEAR already.

SARAH SARAH SAAAARAH you are like the sunshine in my life and if I had my way you would spend forever making stupid faces in my rearview mirror. I hope your day was as good as YOU are, I love yooou. ♥ FOREVERRR.

My capslock is EVERYWHERE tonight, SORRY.

birthdays, the boys who, musak
