My goodness! Some tremendous orange gourds were delivered in the kitchen shipment today! They look a little bit like gia*, but the crates said they were "pumpkins!" There are dozens of recipes that use them, especially in my holiday cookbook: soups, muffins, loaves, cakes, pie; the seeds can even be cleaned and salted and baked as a snack. A
