Amy looked up from her computer, where she was typing up a report for Mac to see Danny standing in the doorway. She blinked at him and slowly turned her head to look around her.
"Me?" she asked pointing at herself. Danny nodded and walked into the office.
"I know this is a fling," began Danny. "But I want something more, I think."
"You think?" asked Amy with an amused grin on her face. "That's all."
"I don't know," said Danny with a shrug, leaning against the desk. "I mean, I get alittle too happy whenever I find out I work with you. I like watching you sleep at night, I like answering the phone when your mom calls."
Amy laughed at him and leaned back in her chair, swinging fron side to side. "Sounds like you love me."
"Maybe," said Danny, laughing as well, and turning his eyes away from her. "I mean...not yet at least."
"So...you don't want this to be a fling?" asked Amy slowly and Danny hesitated, which made Amy nervous and she continued talking. "Becuase I gotta tell you, Danny, this has been pretty awkward for me. I'm not usually the flinging sort of type-"
"You don't have to be," said Danny, interupting her before she dug herself into a hole.
"So what? We go on a real date?"
"Like Valentine's day all over again," said Danny with a smile, making Amy roll her eyes.
"That was only fun because it wasn't really a date, Danny."
"No, it was just fun," corrected Danny. Amy smiled at him and sat up in her chair, leaning over her desk and kissing him on the cheek.
"A real date might even be fun."
