Technology Stuff

Wednesday was uneventful, except during CBC we made promo posters, and during EIC I went with Lee and Nate and Lauren W to the SysLab and we got to go in the supercomputer room (SO exciting) and get a website for the EIC. I kind of was stupid and thought the air conditioning unit was the supercomputer. I guess the actual supercomputer is a bunch of parts put together. And I patted the Mac minis on the head.

Thursday was also uneventful, except I did some serious work on the EIC site and now it actually looks good. I OWN CSS. I am so happy that I can code stuff that's so elaborate. My dad said he has two people who would like websites, and they will pay 500 dollars for each of them. But they want shopping carts, and that requires php and MySql, which I don't know. But if I make a basic HTML and CSS website, I can still get like, 500 dollars out of it, and then maybe my parents will buy me a sexy black matte Macbook. Or a sexy black anodized aluminum iPod nano.

I spent chemistry coming up with good Wikipedia race things with Amy. We came up with these good ones:

contact lens --> Jesus
Barney --> Satan
cauliflower --> Jehovah's Witness
cargo cult --> fuzzy dice

Last year we successfully did Jell-O --> weapons of mass destruction.
