Well...
I just wrote out a really long entry and LiveJournal ate it. Oy Humbug! (Yeah, been watching too much OC recently...)
Looks like the America trip is going ahead - I've got an appointment in Liverpool the first Monday I get back to apply in person for a FastTrack passport which will come through within a week. This means that I can totally make my mid-April flight! Assuming Dad can get the reasonable fare I found on American Airlines, looks like it's all systems go and I'm spending a week and a half at Easter with him. I'm surprising myself with just how much I'm really starting to look forward to this, despite how the last few trips have panned out. However this may be more due to my love of travelling (and of my traditional shopping spree in Gatwick airport!) and my love of North Eastern Mall and having a Starbucks on every street corner than anything else!!! It should be fun if everything goes well. And I'm trying not to think too much about the fact that I'll in Texas during tornado season!
I'm also in a really good mood because I've worked out just how to stretch my finances until my next loan comes through. Hurrah for money!!
My laptop got picked up just before midday. Hopefully it'll be back in time for Easter - fingers crossed, I'd like to have it for America. I'm glad the delivery guy came - although I was slightly annoyed at the time... the ONE time a hot ParcelForce guy shows up is the time I answer the door in my unsexy pyjamas and dressing gown. It was not a pretty sight! Ahhh well!
I've almost convinced my flatmate, Ella to join LiveJournal. This is a good thing - I need someone who's as hooked as I am! :)
