I'm back, been in Pittsburgh the last few days.  We decided not to leave until the day after Thanksgiving.  We spent turkey day at Tommy's uncle's house.  Their family is a fuckin riot.  His uncle picked us up with his 12 year old son.  He was wearing a shirt that said "Trust me, I'm a doctor."  Tommy's like, "Oh, you're a doctor now?" and he's like "Yeah, I'm a gynocologist."  WTF?  Later on Tommy asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up and he said a muthafuckin hustler.  He was the cutest kid ever, but I'm kinda scared to see what he'll be like when he's older.  The food was amazing, the best meal I've had in a long time.  On Friday we went to Johnstown, PA to see Andy's family.  I don't really like his family at all, so I didn't have such a good time.  This is really mean, but the whole time I was there I wanted to sock it to his mother.  She is superintendent of the school district and is you're average overachiever that gets off on having a packed schedule and doing things that make her look good professionally.  She keeps asking us to move to Johnstown and go to school there.  She totally looks down on me for dropping out of Penn State and blames me for Andy dropping out too.  I have nothing against career women whatsoever, but I felt like saying "Maybe if you would have raised your family instead of working you would know your son better and realize he didn't want to go to Penn State from the beginning."  Blah.  Then I went to Pittsburgh to see my dad.  All in all it was pretty boring, but it was good to be back in PA.  I got to see snow, that was great.  It doesn't look like Ocean City is getting snow for a while.

I've done a lot of analysis of my life in the past few days (since it was boring and there was nothing else to do).  I think I want to go to community college next fall.  I was thinking about x-ray technician, but now I'm thinking legal secretary.  Everyone is telling me that it would be so boring, but I like boring work and I've always wanted to be a secretary (yeah, high aspirations).  Plus I'd get to use my brain a lot more than just being a regular secretary.

I'm still unemployed.  It really sucks because Andy doesn't start his job until next week so we're broke like whoa.  The good news is that in a few weeks we'll have $6500 for the settlement from Andy's car wreck.  I saw in the newspaper that this place called "Beach Copy" is hiring, I'm gonna to apply there tomorrow.  I'm not sure if I'll be hired.  The ad says "good computer and typing skills a must".  I'm not quite sure what they mean by that.  Good computer skills can mean anything.  I'm also gonna stop by the Princess Royale, they're hiring a part time nighttime hostess.  It would be nice to have 1 full-time job and a part time job a few days a week since I'm starting to save up for a car.

PS- Has anyone used Friendster?  I signed up since a friend told me to, but I don't quite understand the concept.
