Log: Sue and Quinn.
WHO: Sue Sylvester and Quinn Fabray.
WHAT: Invading glee.
WHERE: Sue Sylvester's office.
WHEN: Tuesday, February 7th. Morning.
Quinn felt a little apprehensive as she made her way to Sue's office. She had pulled Quinn out of her first period class and the blonde wasn't sure why. She knocked on the open door of the office and took a step inside.
"You wanted to see me, Coach?" she asked.
Sue was seated behind her desk, glasses on and open journal in front of her. She closed the book and took off her glasses, setting them on her desk. She looked up at Quinn and nodded.
"Yes, take a seat."
Quinn swallowed hard and moved toward the chair Sue had indicated. She sat. She wondered if she had done something wrong. Was she about to get in trouble?
"Can you sing, Q?" Sue said.
She called her 'Q.' That was a relief. Quinn raised an eyebrow, confused. "Sing?"
"Are you any good at it?" Sue added, eyeing Quinn up.
What did that matter? Quinn gave a shrug. "I... guess."
Sue frowned slightly and lifted her chin. "I need you to join the glee club." Even mentioning the club made her throw up a little in her mouth.
Quinn could only stare for a moment. Had she misheard? "What? Why?"
"I need someone to get in there," Sue explained. "Learn what they're about. Why they are gaining members when they are pathetic. I need to know their hopes and dreams... so that I may crush them. They're stealing Cheerios' funding, they're an abomination to this school. Absolutely repulsive. They need to go away. Do you understand?"
"Yes," Quinn answered. "But, Coach, joining glee, that's... social suicide."
"You're Captain of the Cheerios, Quinn," Sue pointed out. "Make it work." This wasn't up for discussion. It was Sue's way or the highway. "If you won't do it, I'll find someone else who will. Someone more suited to be a leader."
"No, Coach, I'll do it," Quinn responded. "You can count on me."
"You're dismissed." Sue placed her glasses back on and opened her journal again.
Quinn hesitated a moment, then stood and stalked out of the office. She was fucked.
