New Directions: School Assembly Performance
Principal Figgins was near to concluding his speech regarding the bathrooms and their impending repairs. Rachel swallowed around a lump in her throat. She had promised her fellow glee clubbers that this would certainly gain them new blood and possibly status. She hoped she wasn't wrong.
"There will be zero tolerance for anyone soiling school grounds," Principal Figgins' voice carried over through the gymnasium, reaching Rachel's ears behind the red curtain on the stage where they were getting ready.
Clicking her fingers to gain the others attention, she quickly ushered them into place and signaled to Lauren Zizes from the AV club to cue the music. "Good luck, everyone," she stage whispered. "Don't forget to act frisky."
As the roar of the school grew louder and louder, Rachel hurried from her position where she was pressed against Finn's front and reached for the microphone. "A little reminder that Glee auditions are tomorrow at 3:30pm in the choir room. Don't be late!"
