Flash: Blaine

Pain waved throughout his body as the other man’s fist pounded into his jaw. He could feel his knees giving in, but Blaine did his best to stay on his feet. He lifted one arm to protect his face again, but before he realized it, one of the attacker’s fist made contact with his stomach. He gasped suddenly to catch his breath, but that didn’t help the situation any. His knees buckled and his body fell back against the brick wall of the alley he was in. He tried to rationalize what was happening, but he knew exactly the reasons why he was being attacked. For just a split second, he had to question whether or not he truly deserved this... maybe this was the way it was supposed to be.

There wasn’t a lot of time to think though, before he could catch a moment’s rest, there was another fist colliding with his jaws. This time the blood from his lip began to pour and his knees began to shake. It wasn’t long until he was on the ground; his face smashed against the pavement as the strength began to leave his body. He had no more power to keep himself up, he had no more will to try and fight, this was the end for Blaine. He thought they were done before he felt a boot make contact with his ribs. His entire body ached now and he did his best to keep his breathing under some decent control.

He coughed and could feel the blood in his mouth before actually tasting it. You deserve this, Anderson, he told himself as he spit out blood. He finally managed to open his eyes and look across at the other body that was next to him. By just a glimpse at his face, Blaine knew that Sebastian had just as bad a beating as he had. They were both on the ground, both beat until they couldn’t see straight, and for whatever reason, the attacked felt a sense of accomplishment. He didn’t see them leave, his eyes were fixed on Sebastian, but he heard their laughter as they ran off.

Cowards! Blaine wanted to yell, but at this point he was lucky to even still be alive. He watched carefully as Sebastian’s hand moved toward him. Although the pain only got worse as the seconds passed on, Blaine slowly reached his hand out to meet Sebastian’s. The other boy’s fingers were cold when they met, but Blaine barely noticed. He kept his attention on the brunette as he tried to hold on before letting go of his consciousnesses.
