Random bits

Well let's see. I reckon I can write a few blurbs of random stuff happening in my life.

Firstly, we got our electric bill on Friday. $450. That is one hell of a fucking bill. Usually it gets split 6 way (6 members in our apartment), but one of our housemates is never around and he said he'll pay a bit, but doesn't think he should pay an equal amount as the rest of us. I agree/support his belief. It isn't fair to be paying that money when you haven't done much at all.

For those who are curious/don't know, the reason why our electric bill is so high is due to the fact that we use electric heat instead of gas. We have no gas/oil furnaces. Everything is electric. I cannot express how much hatred I have for the individual who came up with the brilliant idea that using electricity for home heating is a good idea. It is fucking retarded and doesn't make any sense; there is very little reason to primarily heat one's home via electricity. Talk about energy wastes and inefficiencies...

We made biodiesel in chem lab from canola oil. It was pretty awesome.

I'm really enjoying my classes this semester. It is so nice to be surrounded in the world of science again. I have a chem test on friday. As nervous as I am about taking it, I know I'm going to buckle down tomorrow night so I can ace it. I got a 92 on one of my tests already. Go me!

I replaced my guitar strings with David Gilmour signature strings; the same exact strings he uses on his black strat. I'm a sucker for stupid gimmicks like this. I know it won't make me sound any more like him. However, I really wasn't feeling the old string on my guitar and these new ones are definately better. Much more bright sounding. I like it.

I am most likely spending my spring break up here at ESF/Syracuse. ESF gives free solar-panel installation courses as a 5 day training course over spring break. That is something I'd love to do. So I'm hopefully doing it.

I've been thinking about some private head thoughts the last few days and I figure I'm close to sorting them out somewhat.

Lastly, I have become addicted to my glasses. I've always known my vision was super shitty, but I've been wearing my glasses so much recently that when I take them off, it bothers me how much I cannot see. I've grown used to glasses-vision. Except wearing them make me look like an even bigger jew.

Speaking of looking like a jew, my hair is getting a bit long. My friend Katie cut my bangs for me a few weeks ago. I can't wait for March to hit so I can finally cut it all off. Maybe my nose would magically shrink. Wouldn't that be nice?

Alrighty! Bedtime for me!
