Make up dinner and nerd store
Make up dinner at Cafe Maude, which was a little disappointing.
1.) They wouldn't give me a 'short' beer. That was bad business as I ended up getting no beer at all. Liquor is high margin, and I would have gladly paid $4 (instead of $5 for the tall). Silly menu fascism. (I could have tried the bar, s'pose).
2.) My maude mac'n'cheese had very few croutons! And we less mustardy than usual!
3.) The pistachio chocolate torte.... Sonny's no longer makes pistachio ice cream, so it was with vanilla. Boo!

Two sets of Chessex nerd dice. They have the 'good' d4's where the numeral is on the 'point'. One set is luscious mother-of-pearl. I wonder if someone somewhere makes oversized for us "hard to see" folk. Or with contrasting sides (heh, or even 4 colors!), to make easier reading.
