sunshine in scotland....
so i know it's been awhile, and i keep thinking about writing but i just haven't. i feel sort of bad that i've let my little lj be so neglected and i really am going to try to keep up with it. i can't even remember the last time i posted or what it was about, so if i repeat things i'm sorry.
anyway, life as of late has been rather great! i mean it's been sunny in scotland for weeks now and i can only recall one rainfall in the past few weeks, which is sort of amazing. especially because it's getting to that time of year when it just rains every day and then it's so windy you can't even use an umbrella because it will just end up getting broken. so needless to say i've been loving the weather!! also, my dissertation has been going well i would like to say. haven't started writing yet, but have been doing a good job finding readings and really getting to what i want to write about. i actually feel sort of productive which is nice. flute lessons have been going well and so has work at the NHS. all around life is just pretty awesome and i haven't felt this happy in a really long time:) it's nice to just feel happy again and not constantly stressed out due to people which i would no longer like to speak of.
so, i should probably also add that with my new found happiness and love of all things scottish, i've decided to apply for the 2 year fresh talent work visa after i finish my dissertation. which would mean that i would be able to stay and work full time in scotland until 2010 and i'm quite liking that idea:) i know it means being away from friends and family still, but i will still go home to visit at least twice a year and hopefully people will come see me. but i finally feel situated here and i don't think i'm ready to quite leave yet.
i think that is all that is pretty much new with me. but i'll try to think of some other new things and write again soon:)
