That stuff you play it sounds so passé.

The life choices I made are beautiful stunning fierce because I keep finding myself working on the wrong things in wrong word document-like, uh, the Doctor Who/Pushing Daisies fic I started ( Read more... )

The albums I know on here, I love (Nelly Furtado was totally my '06 jam), and the ones I don't I want to check out. Pop music, you are my favorite. There's just nothing like it for improving my mood and making me want to sing along and dance.

Which albums do you not know if you don't mind me asking? :)

Haha, my music taste gets so limited sometimes, so there are a LOT. I haven't listened to Lykke Li, The Bird and the Bee, Utada, Annie, Girls Aloud, or Alphabeat. And a couple others (Kylie, Aaliyah, even Beyonce to an extent) I've listened to individual songs but not the albums in full.

Damn, girl! We definitely need to change that. Is there any one in particular you are interested in most? I can help you locate some download links from Mediafire or whatever.

I KNOW! I get in these music ruts where I all I want to listen to for days on end is, like, Kelly Clarkson. Most of the time people have to sit me down with an album and say LISTEN TO THIS IT IS AMAZING.

Well I have a friend who's always telling me to listen to Girls Aloud, so I should probably track down their stuff first.

I haven't listened to Kelly Clarkson in a few months, omg. I need to redownload all her album ASAP, and fantastic choice going with Girls Aloud. When I say they are my favorite pop act, I am not lying. I live, breathe and eat Girls Aloud. I would either start with Chemistry or Tangled Up as your first album, then you can move on to either What Will the Neighbours Say? or Out of Control. I am not a huge fan of their first album, Sound of the Underground. It had a few wonderful tracks but most of it is filler IMO.

Sometimes I feel a little odd saying Kelly Clarkson is my favorite artist, but you know what, SHE IS AND SHE'S AWESOME. Her music ~speaks to me~.

Thank you! I'm so excited, this is such a good day for listening to pop music.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVED Breakaway. I am not sure I recall my thoughts about her other albums. She's extremely talented and sometimes the only good thing that came from American Idol.

I hope GA lives up to expectations. Get back to me with your ~feelings. :)

Breakaway would most definitely be on my pop albums of the decade list. It's so great. All I Ever Wanted, her most recent, is kind of a return to form there, as there are a lot of single-ready songs. I also really love My December, which didn't do well critically and took some time to grow on me, but it's more personal than her other stuff.

Thanks for the Chemistry link below! Starting there and I will report back.

The backlash she got for My December was ridic.
