I reallly wish people would get back with LJ. A nice portion of my life is on this thing, and only a few people to share it with! :)
Anyway, I had an ok Sunday - not busy but great tips, so we made $35 each. Good. Then Barnes and Noble for some coffee, art books, and poetry. Finally, home to the Academy Awards, my yearly tradition about 14 years running. Tomorrow I begged off of work - thank God - and so must lock myself in my house and STUDY!!!!!
I am having horrible, awful, depressing art and writing block. Nothing is coming out. I think it might be because I know, deep down, that I should be doing other things - like homework. SO maybe if I clean my room, finish my homework, and BREATHE a bit I will find my blockage loosening up. Let us hope so, anyway, because I get writers/art block usually just after doing something I'm really proud of. And I recently finished 4 rather decent paintings and one story that I posted on DA. I was so pleased with myself, for FINALLY producing passable art, that I think my brain kind of froze in the shock of it all. :) Maybe seeing STACY on Tuesday will free my mind and I'll be able to create more artsy things.
For those of you still reading, dont worry: the end is near! I need to rest up for my long studying day tomorrow. My plan is to wake up quite early, maybe around 8; put up a pot of coffee; fluff up my pillows and read for a while. Then spend hours and hours alternating between homework and housework. Hopefully I will be all done by four, then I can do some art stuff or write or watch some TV before I have to leave for my night class.
I'm even gonna shower tonight so I can ignore that until tomorrow afternoon. ;)
