Two main points of contention here!

One: My brother's playing in a large hockey tournament in Lake Placid, and it's luckily happening over my spring break. This is very good. The problem is that it's actually a bit earlier in the week - which means the time I have to get home in order for us to be able to get to Lake Placid is in the middle of midterms week. Looks like I'll have to leave Tuesday night, which means I'll have to move things and hassle professors and will end up having a good amount of exams and tests to take the previous week or somehow on either Monday or Tuesday. I'm getting a migraine just thinking about it... along with all the lectures/notes I'll be missing. Missing three days of Japanese won't be good at all. Idk, guys, I'll have to make it work somehow. My parents need to buy my flight tickets now, along with giving confirmation to the team manager that I'll need space in the hotel.

This is going to haunt me until early March, when the whole dirty mess is going to go down. :(

Two: I interviewed for a job recently; it's not a big exciting position or anything - it's just an office job - but I'll be so happy if I get it. The interview was last Wednesday, and the woman told me they have a few more interviewees and that she'd call me back in a few days. So! Uhm, my question is, would it be fine to call and check up on this? I really have no idea. The problem is, there are other jobs I could be applying for in the meantime (and it's so hard for me to find something that works, since so many of them require being in Iowa over summer break), and even a few days are enough for something to disappear from the Jobnet listings.

Would it seem overly rude or forward if I called tomorrow or on Wednesday to ask how it's going? GUYS IDK HELP ME DILEMMA DILEMMA. I've never been good with suspense. And I kind of need to know!

Sorry for being boring. :C Assign me a PARTNER IN CRIME?
