So I'm procrastinating yet on the verge of nearing showing my preliminary portfolio. Personally I really don't think there's that much for me to really re-touch and fix, plus in trying to save space before I got this new notebook computer and before the other one died I deleted all of my source files. I'll figure out something for whatever I need to fix. It's Saturday night and it's chill time...oh alright Sunday morning for ye picky people. Damn it's storming hard outside at the moment.
Last week finally I got Lady Sakura the Vabbian armor I'd been eying since last year. Probably one of the most (if not 2nd most) expensive armors available in Guild Wars, namely in the cost of gems.
The Log-in screen is always the best for full body shots. I really love the top and the dagger accents by the waist. Too bad I can't throw them at people XD
Showing off her favorite weapon, the Platinum Bow -- a girl has to have her toys :)
The cherry blossom by the cherry blossoms back in her 'homeland' expansion of the Guild Wars series. It's weird seeing her without shades. Maybe I should consider getting the slim or normal glasses...
And after somewhere between 3-4 weeks of farming and questing for contracts to save up on the cash, I end up with this much of gems which don't even show up on the armor! Though that's the rule for pretty much all Vabbian armors and yeah I can't spell "sapphires" either :P
Her other armors. From Left to right: Ancient set (trench coat ftw!), Luxon regular (trapping set), Ascended Studded leather (very school girlish, especially if dyed white...) and Kurzick regular, total frilly lolita (love the combat boots!).
Hey, being a PKMN fan can't help but make the reference ;D Reminds me I should re-charge my DS because the battery is low. Had a good weekend though. I was able to treat myself this weekend to some things. Went to Half Price Bookstores and found first series Saiyuki Double Barrel vol. 3 for about $15, so picked it up.
From Waldenbooks got Gravitation the Novel. Sake-chan's Boys Love mania is starting to get to me and I felt inclined to get a BL manga, but couldn't spot anything one shot that really caught my interest, so got the Gravitation book. It's pretty interesting so far. Also picked up goodies from Bath and Body Works and a lovely skirt from Torrid, which finally opened a location much closer to my location.I look forward to December 14th when I walk out of school from last class and close this chapter at North Harris College and put the whole school scene behind me.
