I made a Character Profile! Jangjangjang!! XD

-Chapter 4; my naked truth-

“I never knew you have a brother.” Yunho said while in the middle of eating apples. It was a piece that Jaejoong cut carefully into the shape of a rabbit.

He saw the other shrugged. “I didn’t say anything about it.”

“You could at least tell me that kind of things.”

“Well, you never ask.”

Of course he never ask. There was no need to ask when he already know the fact that Jaejoong have a little brother. But I should act like I don’t know, right?

“He doesn’t look like you. Well, maybe a little. From the height.”

A pinched on Yunho’s hand. “I’m not short!.” The other retorded.

“I never said you’re short. Stop pinching me!” He said, blowing some air on his hand, trying to make the pain go away. When Jaejoong saw that Yunho was in pain, he rubbed and caressed the spot softly with his delicate fingers. “Sorry,” Jaejoong mumbled.

He wanted to tease him a little bit more. “It hurts you know. I’m already in pain because of my arm and chest and you just had to add more.”

“Sorry.” He wanted to laugh at how guilty Jaejoong’s face looked like at the moment. “I didn’t pinch it that hard.”

He almost burst into a fit of laughter when suddenly the door to his room opened roughly. “Hello sunshine! Detective Park Yoochun on your service!” by none other than the idiot Chun.

“Shut up! You’re being so noisy in the morning!” He heard Jaejoong scolded Yoochun.

If there’s anything amusing in the boring hospital, that would be the bickering of Jaejoong and Yoochun. Something that Yunho learned from a few days after he woke up. Looks like the idiocy from the hail Park Yoochun is not something that is up to Jaejoong’s liking.

“Girl, you’re just as nosy as ever.” Yunho swore he could saw smoke coming out from Jaejoong’s ears. It’s funny to think that Yoochun was capable of making Jaejoong show some strange expression that Yunho never saw before.

“Good morning Yunho! Nice to know that you’re looking healthy as ever.”

“Thank you Yoochun. Anything aside from my chest and right arm, I am fine.”

“He’s healthy as ever, Mr.forehead. You can just leave now!”

Now, this is interesting. He always forgot to tell Jaejoong about how sensitive Yoochun is about the topic concerning his forehead. Although he has a feeling that telling Jaejoong that would just make it worse.

“Oh, no. You didn’t just say what I heard you said.” He saw Yoochun’s expression turn red from anger. The brows on his big forehead-okay, just can’t get over the big forehead topic-scrunched together.

He turned his head to Jaejoong and he saw the older man smirked. Crossing his arms in front of his chest with a smug expression on his face. “Well, I did.”

And that’s all it took before Park Yoochun launched himself in a mad dash towards Jaejoong, grabbing the other’s collar. Yunho almost felt the need to ignore the pain on his chest to grab Yoochun and drag him as far as he could from Jaejoong. Almost. And that’s before the door creaked open.

“For God sake, hyung. What are you doing!” Junsu entered the room right just in time, pulling Jaejoong away from mad Yoochun, and Changmin who happened to enter the room at the same time when Junsu grabbed Yoochun.

“Oh no, hyung.” He heard Changmin said. “You owe me a full year of sweets if you do anything to Jaejoong hyung.”

“It’s this guy fault! How dare he insult my forehead! It’s just the right size!” He saw Yoochun’s hands flailing to get out of Changmin’s grasp. And he’s taken by surprise when one of his hand almost hit his bandage arm.

“Woah, woah. Easy Chun. You almost hit my arm.” He said with one hand protecting his injured arm. And with that being said, now he heard another angry shout. This time from Jaejoong.

“You bald forehead! If you hit Yunho’s arm and you ended up hurting him, I’m going to shred you into mppfh!!”

To his great relief, Junsu covered Jaejoong’s mouth, preventing the man from saying anything. As much as he love Jaejoong’s voice, he didn’t want to hear more of their childish fight.

“If you would excuse us, I am going to take my hyung out to get some food.” A protest sound from Jaejoong “I know you would love to eat hyung.”

And the last thing Yunho heard before they completely exited the room was Jae’s little discontent “I swear, I’m going to make him completely bald that he won’t be able to grow his hair anymore!”

* * * * *

“That brat is so annoying” He saw Yoochun huffed. “I swear, if he dare to insult my forehead anymore, I’ll make him regret it.”

“Ohh, how?” Yunho regreted asking that, because right now Yoochun gave him a suspicious grin. Which meant whatever was on his mind right now was not something that was up to anyone sake. Oh, maybe for his sake of revenge.

He saw Yoochun walked closer to his bed, putting his arm leisurely on Yunho’s shoulder. “You know, something along with deprivation. I just need your co-operation.”

He shrugged Yoochun’s arm from his shoulder. Now looking at him with distaste. “Whatever is on your mind Yoochun, I don’t want to be involved with your crazy idea.”

“If you really do that, and then Jaejoong hyung will be mad and he would stop making all kinds of food for me and Yunho hyung, well, especially for me. I’m going to catastrate your other bald stick.” He heard Changmin said none too gently.

“It has hair!” He throw a fit of laughter when Yoochun’s hand instinctively sneak bellow to cover his crotch.

“Then maybe I should make your cuckoo go bald first.”

“As much as I love this joke, guys. It’s getting dirty.” Yunho said, still holding on his stomach, laughing at Changmin’s dirty remark. “Can we just talk about the other things? Before I keep on laughing my ass off and open up my concussion.”

“That brother of Jaejoong has a hot butt.”

“Yoochun!” He exclaimed with surprise.

“It looks like a duck butt. And his voice sounded like a dolphin.” Changmin agreed.

He groaned. “Not you too, Changmin.”

He heard a loud thud coming from Yoochun when he sat on the loveseat, leaving the chair beside Yunho’s bed for Changmin. The younger man crossed his arms “When you were out for a couple days, there was another murder.”

The color on his face quickly darkened. “Who’s the victim this time?”

Changmin brought his laptop with him and he quickly went through the files. “Choi Areum, a journalist from ‘Daily News’ newspaper.” Yunho took a look at the screen and saw a photo of an average young man. “The evidence led to the same serial killer. White cloth and the I.D card.”

“Choi Areum,” he heard Yoochun spoke, “is the journalist who got an instant fame because of his article about the corruption inside the Sugiyama’s corp.”

“Ah, that one security system company built by the Korean born Japanese?”

“Exactly.”

Another click. “So after that, I decided it would be best if we checked both of the Kim phone lines. And it surprised us to see the result.”

He took another look at the screen when Changmin turned the laptop screen for him. There, a lot of number written under the name of both Jaejoong and Junsu, each with the details of time and the caller. “Wow. That’s a lot of phone calls.”

“No hyung, that’s not the things that surprised us. You should see how many times Yoochun hyung called a girl through his office number. That’s what you call a lot.”

“What does it have to do with me?!”

“What surprised us is that, none of the phone calls came from anybody related with Sugiyama company.” Changmin said, ignoring Yoochun’s remark. “I checked their internet usage, and it’s clean.”

Yunho started to waver. He started off so strong, trusting that Jaejoong is the one who’s responsible with all the murder. But everytime they search for evidence or proof, nothing is going along with his idea of Jaejoong as an assasin.

It should be enough for him to prove that Jaejoong is not the bad guy. But the small part of his heart told him not to believe on what he see. That he needed to trust his feelings. But right now, he’s unsure of what his real feelings is. Is it really Jaejoong? Or he just want it to be Jaejoong because he didn’t want to fall into the same fault he made a few years back?

“We should keep our eyes on him.” He spoke after he got a control over his mixed emotion. “Later if we got a clue that the culprit is not him, then we change our target. For now, always stay on your guard.”

“Your wish is my command.” He heard Changmin said.

“Hey, I really think that Jaejoong’s brother has a hot butt.” A sound of apple hitting the wall. Continued with Changmin’s scream “Hey, don’t waste food!”

* * * * *

“Thank you, Mr. Jung. That’s your last check up for today. If nothing happen, you can go home tomorrow.”

“Thank you very much, doctor” He smiled at the warm man who’s responsible for him all the time when he’s in the hospital. The old doctor was always being so kind to him. That includes letting little rascals like Yoochun and Changmin visit him even though they’re always being as loud as the wild duck.

“You sure he doesn’t have to come back here for more check up?” He heard Jaejoong asked the doctor.

“No.” A smile on the doctor face. “I know you’re worried about him, but he showed us nothing but a good progress. So I’m sure enough when I said he’s allowed to go home.”

“Well, if you say so.” He could still feel that Jaejoong is a little unsure about him already allowed to go home. But really, if he should stay much longer at the hospital, he’s going to starved himself to death before they shoved another hospital food to his mouth.

“If nothing else mattered, I’ll take my leave now. Please take care, mr.Jung.”

“You sure you want to go home?” He heard Jaejoong asked after the doctor fully exited the room. “If you want to stay for a little longer, I’m sure they would allow you. You just need to say that you didn’t feel good enough to go home.”

“I’m fine and more than willing to come home.” He sneaked his hand to grab Jaejoong’s hand. Assuring the man that he’s good. “Don’t worry about it. I’m glad that I would be back home in no time. I would die if I should stay here any longer. Their food isn’t edible.”

“If it’s only about food, I can cook for you.”

“Uh, no thanks Jaejoong ah. You tried once, and I almost choked to death.” Yes. After some episodes of the hospitals drama, which Yunho didn’t know when exactly, he just started to lose the honorrific when he called Jaejoong. And Jaejoong seems to like it.

“I don’t know...”

“Beside, you could always visit me even when I’m at home. Don’t worry.” He saw a smile blooming on the other face. So it’s not a wrong decision after all, letting him invade a little of my privacy.

* * * * *

“Do you want to come in first?” He asked Jaejoong after they finally arrived at his apartment at the day when he finally discharged from the hospitals. He saw that the answer to his question is ‘yes’ when Jaejoong was sticking to him once again. He was clinging to his good arm, which was making it hard for him to unlock the door.

“Are we going to have sex in there?”

Yunho almost bumped his left arms into the door when he turned his body to face Jajeoong. He was very surprised at Jaejoong’s choices of words but then again Jaejoong is always blunt. But he never thought Jaejoong would ask him something like that.

He gaped for a few seconds before he could finally talk again. “No, Jaejoong sshi. Make love is out of the question.”

A pout. Oh no, not that pout again. Last time he saw Jaejoong’s pout, he gave in to the other request. He should remind himself to stay strong on his opinion today.

“But we already kissed.” The other say carelessly. “In a relationship, the next step after kissing is sleeping together.”

“That doesn’t mean that we’re going to have sex. And we’re not in any intimate relationship either.”

Finally, after trying to open the door lock for a few times, a click was heard. He carefully opened his apartment door, afraid that his beloved Taepoong-his shiberian husky-would suddenly run outside and bump onto his injured arm.

“Maybe in the future. It doesn’t have to be right now. I could wait.”

Seeing that it’s not anywhere near his sight, Yunho entered his apartment, still with Jaejoong latched on his right arm. “No. Not right now. Not tomorrow, and not anytime in the future.” If he wanted to be professional, he should give his all. Kissing is as far as he could since he already betrayed his commitment. Anything more than that is forbidden.

He shrugged Jaejoong’s arm from him, and sat on the floor, struggling to take of his shoes, but he found it hard to undo the strings. Tell me once again why did I choose to use sneakers instead of flip flops? Oh yeah, Jaejoong said flip flops are ugly and out of trend.

“Let me help.” He was surprised to find Jaejoong crouching in front of him, helping him take off his shoes. Acting on reflex, he grabbed Jaejoong’s hand, moving it away from his shoes.

It doesn’t feel right. Letting those delicate hands to touch his shoes, touching the lowest part of him, Yunho just can’t let Jaejoong do that. “I can do it myself.” He said nonchalantly, acting as if he was irritated when in fact, he was just worried that he would taint those white porcelain hands by touching his sneakers. God knows when was the last time he washed his shoes.

Although tainted would be a little bit too extreme.

He saw Jaejoong’s scoffed. “Well, you can. It’s just that it would be easier if I help you. So let me.” But he didn’t let go of Jaejoong hands, instead, he stood up-still gripping on Jaejoong’s hands-and shoved the shoes away using his legs.

He smirked. “There. Fast, right?”

“Brat” He heard the other man mumble. But he ignored the remark and went straight to his room, searching for his dog. It’s not usual for Taepoong to hide and not coming straight to him once he opened the door, with his nose-or practically it’s entire head-nudging to Yunho’s crotch. Perverted dog. He thought.

When he couldn’t find that big dog anywhere, he decided to go back to the living room, wante to call one of his dongsaeng, just in case they decided to take Taepoong away for a walk. Though that won’t be a good idea since Taepoong nudging on-literally-everyone crotch. Male crotch to be exact. He is perverted, and gay too. What a dog.

But when he arrived at the living room, he saw Jaejoong looking at one of the picture frames of him. With a girl. And he was not surprised to see him suddenly running away.

In reflex, Yunho chased after him. The only thing that came into his head to stop Jaejoong, he, once again, kissed him.

* * * * *

“You know what, Yunho, kissing is not exactly the right way to stop someone.” Jaejoong said when they finally situated on the couch. Taepoong long forgotten.

“That’s the only thing I could think to stop you.” He shrugged.

“For an investigator, you’re pretty dense.” He saw Jaejoong smile. And his heart, once again, thumped against on his ribcage. But then he saw the other smile fall. “did you do it to everybody?”

“No.” He saw the older man grinning from ear to ear. But apparently, the smile didn’t last for too long. He saw Jaejoong’s expression turned back into a sour one when the other eyes landed on the picture once again.

“Who is she?” he heard Jaejoong asked while eyeing the photo that he took before in distaste. Yunho could clearly see hate and jealousy in the other eyes. He’s amused to find out what a jealous man Jaejoong is. Not to mention the fact that he and Jaejoong aren’t dating. Well, they won’t. Stick to professionalism. He chanted on his head.

But that doesn’t mean he’s happy with the hate that the later directing toward the girl in the photo.

“She’s my little sister.” He said while eyeing the photo.

“Oh?” Yunho detected a mix of emotion in that one word that coming out from Jaejoong’s mouth. Embarassed because he thought she’s Yunho’s girlfriend, contented because it’s not, and shocked at the fact. “Im sorry.”

He turned his head toward Jaejoong. Drawing a little smile when he saw the other hanging his head low, with guilt plasted on his face. He couldn’t help but to admire that new expression on jaejoong’s face.

“It’s okay. She won’t be able to feel mad at you.” He looked far ahead. Eyes focused on nothing in particular. Reminiscing the old time when his little sister was still alive and well.

It looks like Jaejoong didn’t get what Yunho mean by that, because the next thing that comes out from Jaejoong is a typical question that he always got from people whenever they reach this subject.

“Where is she?”

And so Yunho give him a typical answer that he always give whenever that question come out, “heaven” he said while smiling at the memories of his little sister.

With that answer, he heard the other gasped. And when he looked at Jaejoong, he saw an unreadable expression on the other face. Maybe guilt? Or pity? He’s used to people giving him that look after he told him the dtory of his little sister. Not that he need to be pitied. That won’t make his sister come alive.

He felt soft hands come around his good arm, circling it. And then he saw Jaejoong’s soft hair landed on his shoulder, leaning onto him.

“What happened to her?”

He closed his eyes. A sudden emotion rushed into his chest, “someone killed her.”

He felt Jaejoong jerked away from him. Eyes widen in surprise. He scoffed. Clearly understand the other sudden reaction. Something flooded on his chest when he see Jaejoong. But he knew that feelings good enough to say that it’s not love. It’s hate. The more he look at Jaejoong, the more he feels that hate filling his chest.

“S... sorry...” He heard the other said with tears welling up on his eyes.

He gritted his teeth. Trying to surpress his anger. He can’t vent it on Jaejoong. No matter how angry he is, it’s not Jaejoong. No matter if the fact that Jaejoong a killer is true, he’s still not the one who killed his sister.

“Why are you sorry? Are you a killer?” He said it half joking, but from the way the older man stiffen, he know that Jaejoong didn’t take it as a joke.

A strong head shakes. He scoffed again. “It’s my ex who killed her.” Another gasp.

He look straight to Jaejoong’s eyes. “That’s why I won’t go out with you.”

No matter how strong that feelings on his chest. No matter how it tried to come out. He won’t love. Not anymore.
