Happy New Year!
Well, its been a while since I updated. Much has happened, yet, somethings havent changed.
First, a cheap plug for something I am selling.

Thats right, its the infamous NWA-Sunray Tag belts.
Ok, enough of the cheap plug. Since the last update, first and foremost, our beloved cat is gone. We have had her since May, when she was a kidden, and she was an indoor cat. Literally, the sweetest, friendliest cat anyone would want. She loved attention, and was very well behaved. Well, she came into heat, and snuck out (my fault, i should have had her fixed). I came home for lunch, and she was on the steps bleeding profusely from the mouth. I thought she was hit by a car or something. I rushed her to the vet, and it seems someone shot her, went in one jaw hinge, and out the other. The vet said the jaw would need to be fixed, but he cant do it. Sent me to Ft.Lauderdale. There they said they could, but it would be $3800. Needless to say, i cant afford that, and distraught, I took her back to the first vet. They gave her an IV, some liquid food, and told me how to take care of her incase it heals on its own. She just got worse over the next couple days, and was suffering, so last thursday, my son and I took her in to be put down. The next day we went to the pound and adopted two more (though we dont have them yet, they are waiting to be fixed). I still miss her, and hope the new kittens are social like the last one.
I also discovered that Honda's dont float. I was going to Ft.Pierce from Okeechobee to buy a belt sander from Home Depot, and theres this real big sharp turn. Some ass was passing in it, and it was go head on with a pickup, or cut to the right. I cut to the right, that took me onto the grass, where i proceeded to spin the car sideways, then backwards into a canal. The trunk and inside of the car were.. well, underwater. Some dude in a hummer pulled it out, and other than a flat tire (and pondwater stink in the car) it was no worse for wear. Car takes a hell of a beating. Still cant drive at night though, as the lights are still smooshed. in the front right.
Christmas was decent enough. Had over a coworker for the standard ham dinner, with some nasty concoction of beans and rice I made, as well as green beans. Eh, it made a turd. New years was uneventful. I think I went to bed at 11pm. For some reason, the holidays just dont do shit for me anymore. I always get stuck working, I dont enjoy buying gifts, giving gifts, or getting gifts. It just seems so commercial, and the only part I really enjoy, is the time off, which I dont get either.
The house is coming along, albeit slower than I had expected. Highlights of the last week are: We finally cut away the brush near the house, the plumbing is all fully operational, the bedroom floors are done, just the living room to go, most of the garbage in the house is now gone and burned. The electric service is also paid for, but is still waiting to be hooked up. It is delaying me significantly. I also found RATS. Not in the home, but in one of the far out buildings. I figure clearing the brush will help, and the 14000 rat poison blocks cant hurt either. Fucking rats, I hate them.
Well, thats about all I have for an update since the last update.
Now for the "2005, a brief year in review".
Sunray closed shop due to the ineptitude of the person I sold it to.
I have closed on my first house, attached to 5.5 acres of land.
I got laid with regularity
I changed careers
I moved to the countryside
My beloved cat was needlessly shot
