Exciting week
Some of you have been asking mommy when I'd blog again, so here I am. I haven't written because until this week there hasn't been a lot to say. We work the same routes over and over. I like this because I get better and better at them. Mommy has been getting kind of upset lately because I've been pooping in harness which I'm not supposed to do. Other than that I've had mostly all good routes. But I didn't think you'd want me talk about the same old routes so I haven't blogged. This week we've done many new exciting things. On Monday we rode the bus for a long time and got off in a town called Poulsbo where I saw my grandparents. I guided mommy Shelly and she and Grandma talked about the stores and stuff we were passing. We went in a few of them. In one store I got to meet a guide dog in training. She is 6 months old. I wanted to play really, really bad, but mom said no and so did the puppy's human. There are lots of dogs in Poulsbo. I tried to go say hi to a few of them and got corrected. But it was a good walk; I only got confused on one street. We went to lunch in the Poulsbo town and then back on the bus for the long ride home.
Tuesday mommy didn't feel good, so we didn't do anything. But Wednesday was Miracle Ranch day. We go there so mommy can ride a horse. Horses are usually big, but there are some at the ranch that aren't much bigger than me. I think they'd be fun to play with. So would the little goats. But mommy makes me guide her or heel nicely by all the animals’ pens. Mommy tells me that she gets on the back of the big horse and it carries her. I have not watched her ride yet, but I do not think I will like seeing it. I sleep in a stall in the barn. Or at least I try to sleep. The chickens make so much noise!
Thursday was very busy and long. We finally went to the place called gym. It is a big room with many smells and strange looking machines in it and lots of sounds. Mommy got on one of the machines and walked, but she made me stay laying down. She says we will start going there more often since I was good.
Then we went with mommy's friend A to A's house. I had never been there before. A has 2 little dogs, Roland and Bonnie. They are so small I could carry them, but I did not. We played chase instead which was very, very fun. I hope I can go back there maybe tomorrow. There are 2 other dogs that I sometimes play with named Chloe and Gabby. They live in a big yard. I like Chloe the best. Anyway, mommy and A had lunch and then we came home, but we left almost right away. We went to a new school where some teachers talked about God with the kids. Mommy says we will be going back. This is good. I like kids!
Then we went out to eat at Subway. Mommy really likes that place! I think I would like to eat there some time.
Then we went to a place called a park where people were playing baseball and basketball and playing on the playground. There were lots of people and noise and activity and there were kids! And it was fun!
And now that I've typed up this long entry I'll think I'll go sleep on the couch (don't tell my trainers, but mom lets me on the couch). I get on the bed too, but she makes me get off there.
I'll write when something exciting happens which hopefully will be very soon.
