Holidays, bitter cold, year-end processing. If it wasn't for work or social obligations, I would like this time of year a lot more. >_< I don't go shopping on black friday because I don't need things bad enough to get up early or stand in line for long times. I don't like crowds of slavering discount-crazed stampeding shoppers. I am a low-key shopper. The less people the better for me. To those of you who brave the madness, hats off!!
Had a good Thanksgiving. Ate more manju and egg rolls than turkey and stuffing. My family here in the cities is mostly from Hawaii, so holiday dinners are not your traditional mid-west american fare. I could eat meat-buns until I pass out.
I went out with a friend whom I haven't seen in a while. She called on Saturday night after finding out she didn't have to work that night. We went out to eat and for an appetizer I got these:
Clare (
ninja_tech) has been listening to Nishikido's "ordinary" a lot recently. It's very Ajikan-like so I do enjoy it...even on repeat. I can't seem to stop listening to Kesenai and Smile Maker. Finally got around to start watching Papa to Musume no Nanokakan. It's pretty funny and of course, I lurv Shige-san.
I made tonkatsu for lunch tomorrow and the rice should be cool enough for packing now. *skips to kitchen*
