Yeah, I skipped the title part just now, cause I couldn't think of anything, but you've probably read it, since I will come back and put one on when I'm finished. Whoa, you've, like, read something I haven't done yet. That's heavy.
Anyways, Miss Action sorta celebrated our 3 year togetherness thing today. We went to Knox-vegas and ate Steak-n-Shake, which we never eat, cause it's a ways away, or we always forget it exists. We then walked around a couple of stores in Turkey Creek Shopping Center, then proceeded to the Disc Exchange. While there, I picked up Karate: Pockets, Karate: In the Fishtank 12, the Music, which I can't remember the title of, )maybe it's cause it's not worth remembering, or maybe I should give it a couple of listens( and Metallica: Some Kind of Monster on DVD for $12.99. Not all that shit, of course, just the DVD was used for 13 bucks. Much props to Poop for turning me on to Karate. I planned on buying the two discs that were on his burned CD before I return it, but they only had Pockets. In the Fishtank is interesting, though. It's all cover songs recorded for a record company called Konkurrent. They pick a band they like, then put them in the studio for 2 days to record an album. I might should have picked up Some Boots, but it's fairly decent. Poop can spread the thanks to the folks that got him into Karate for me if he feels the need. I must say, though, I was disappointed with the Music, which I bought on a whim. I had never heard them before, but saw them on Letterman playing a catchy little number I thought I liked. The vocals sound like My Morning Jacket, which isn't a compliment. Way to much echo. Like he's singing into a tin toilet. Oh well, shit was used anyways. 7 bucks ain't to bad to pay for a CD you can return in 10 days if you don't like. Like money in the bank for the new System of a Down album that comes out on Tuesday. Oh yeah, I'm straight up gettin that shit, ya'll. Should be pretty good, I hope.
Well, I will end with saying I thoroughly enjoyed the Simpsons and Family Guy this evening. 16th season finale of the Simpsons. Doesn't seem like it's even been a season yet, but I guess it has. Laters. Eh, eh. Never mind.
