So then he said, no, no, hold on, check this out. Listen,

"I assume the responsibility for that failure."
What?
Hold on ..............................................................
What? Who was this again?
No fucking way.
George Fucking Dubya.
Yep, hell froze over, and the New Orleans airport reopened so the pigs would have somewhere to land. G.W. admitting, yes, admitting the government fucked up, and not only that, but taking part of the blame. I never thought I would ever hear anything like that coming from that motherfucker. 'Bout fucking time he fessed up to something. Damn. For a split second, a split of a split second, I almost had an ounce, well, maybe a half-ounce of respect for him. Of course, there's 16 ounces in a pound, and he has to weigh at least a buck-seventy, so there's still quite a ways to go for full-fledged respect, which I seriously doubt he'll ever get from me. Still, baby steps.
On another note, same area, there has been some commenting about the state of New Orleans, and how it got that way and whose fault it was. Mike said something about not wanting to piss me and Newtons off, and Tarmac said something about not wanting to piss people off or something to that affect. I felt it may have been directed at me because of my bitching about the welfare system and the people on it and shit. None of your opinions would ever piss me off, and hopefully I didn't piss any of you all off. The great thing about us is the fact that for the most part, our views are fairly similar. My only big complaint about the Orleans situation is that the race card was drawn. That always pisses me off when it's unjustified, and it is used unjustly quite the bit. It wasn't a race thing, it was a class thing, which is something else I seem to go off about. My feeling is that alot of the people in certain classes are there because it's easy, they don't care, and they can blame someone else for it. They have no drive. I've seen it first-hand in Charleston. I did however, probably take it a bit far. Some really do need the help, and they deserve to get it. Anyways, please do opine, I like hearing different sides of things. I'm a little to the left of the middle of the road, and I do take pride in that. I just feel that more people should be able to do more to help themselves, and sometimes the welfare and environment of the projects and trailor parks are used as an crutch instead of being used as a stepping stone, which is what public housing is supposed to be. The bottom line is that if that was a bomb that went off down there, we would be fucked. The Bush Administration, with all it's big talk and huffing and puffing in the last 4 years, failed. Miserably. With our luck, they'll use this as an excuse to add some more laws to the Patriot Act. Talk about oppresion. Shit, I'm rambling way off course here, back to you guys. Please express whatever you feel, however you feel, whenever you feel it. If I don't know how you feel about most shit by now, then I'm a pretty shitty friend. I can usually understand both sides of issues pretty well, and it's always nice to get some insight.
Damn, another update that was probably way to long for it's own good. I could keep going on about politics, make some decent points, but I would probably show my ass now and again, also. Nuff said.
On another note, we will definitely be shooting to come up there on the 30th of September, if that suits everyones schedules. Looking forward to it, as always.
Shit, to think that I was going to get on here and make a cool list of songs. Well, cool to me anyways, you all would probably just get on and shoot it to shit with your crappy opinions. ;)
