Not to completely rip off Sam Venable of the Knoxville News Sentinel, but oh well, he is a good columnist.
Just some random shit:
1. I actually have time to update, the last 2 times I was on here, I spent so much time reading everyone elses stuff, I had no time to post my own. Now I have completely caught up, thanks to the 45 min to an hour earlier today.
2. Fuck all the bitching bitches from New Orleans. I felt sorry for them for a while, but the more they open their mouths, the less sorry I feel. Ignorance is a sorry virtue to hold, as is the race card. Yes, the government fucked up. As Bill O'Rielly said the other night, and gained some respect from me in doing so, "You cannot depend on the government for anything, they will always drop the ball." I was surprised, but then again Bill has always been a straight-shooter, even when I disagree with him, he is usually well informed on his topic.
3. We did jack-shit today. The hardest thing I did today was trying in vain to light charcoal in the grill. The couch has been my best friend today, it and my woman. It's been nice. Watched the Life of Brian for the first time, and I enjoyed it. Oh Monty Python, you silly man. We also watched Saving Grace, which was also enjoyable. It's good to watch something lighthearted every once in a while. We watched Crash on Friday, and it was pretty good, although it reminded me alot of Magnolia, I think that's the name. Tom Cruise and some other people in that one. Both good flicks though.
4. Went to a cookout at my friend and co-worker Brandon's house last night, drank lots of beer, ate good food, bullshat about a bunch of nothing, threw the football, threw horseshoes, and had a real good time.
5. Changed the oil in the Pathfinder for the first time, and it was a real bitch. It took me 20 minutes to get the drain plug off. They must have used an airgun to put it on after the last change. Fuckers. I then had to take the brushguard off to get to the fucking oil filter. I could change the oil in my Honda in about 15-20 minutes, this took me at least an hour. I do now, however, know what I'm up against after the next 3,000 miles, and it does save me about 25-30 dollars, so kudos to me, thank you very much.
6. The Titans got slaughtered by the Steelers today, 7 to 34. That after them scoring on the opening drive of the game. I sure as hell didn't think that would be the only points they'd score. Fuckers.
7. The season premier of the Simpsons and Family Guy is tonight, which I am greatly looking forward to. More couch time for me. Terrible.
8. Yellow Brick Road by Mayfield is probably my favorite ice cream now. It's vanilly with Butterfinger mixed, so it actually is yellow with delicious little chunks of buttery goodness. Mmmmm.
9. We're gonna try to come up there to Iniana sometime soon. Miss Action's birthday is on Thursday, so we were thinking of coming up there this coming weekend, but it may not be in the cards. Perhaps two weekends from then, she has football duty on the 23rd. Doodie.
10. Alphred mentioned something about being moved my next year, so I am very curious about that, seeing how we are talking about being up there by the year after next. A vet school thing, perhaps? It's the first I've heard moving mentioned in such tones, although I did read that Rexie will be giving it a go at vet school.
