My Oma passed away this morning. It wasn't unexpected - she was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been getting progressively worse since the summer.

Mom's been there helping to take care of her for a few weeks, so I don't know how she's doing with all this. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a parent. It's hard enough just losing any

Oh Jamesey, I'm sorry to hear that. If she's been sick it's probaby for the best, but that doesnt' really make it better, does it?

That's the one. Although the town is Grimsby, at least where my Opa runs his air park.

The funeral's already been scheduled for Wednesday morning... and I work until 7 am that day, so now I'm trying to get one of my coworkers to take the shift so I can go.

I hope I can get the time off to go. Although I wouldn't have any problem simply quitting my job and going - there's always more jobs.
