My Oma passed away this morning. It wasn't unexpected - she was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been getting progressively worse since the summer.
Mom's been there helping to take care of her for a few weeks, so I don't know how she's doing with all this. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a parent. It's hard enough just losing any family.
