A lot of the threads are ones that I can relate to just now. I'd rather post and help people than ever post about myself, I find it hard to use support lists for support. Kinda defeats the purpose :S
Um... your mum does know you work like a teacher works with marking and developing resources and exams and stuff? I cant understand how she thinks you're like a student... 30days is nothing for what you do. I've got another friend who is a lecturer in Edinburgh and she only gets 28days! Unbelievable.
How can you tell whether things will get better? I have no definitive answer but what I do is look at the past and see if there is a pattern. Like is it hard going for a bit then easier or is it hard going and destructive? Sometimes you have to test water to see if its deep and dangerous or warm and soothing.
What is it right now thats the difficult bit? You mentioned your appraisal but it went ok? Your post about it was very positive, thats a brilliant achievement and you did really well. Is it the problems with collegues or is it the pressure to perform?
